We value the relationship with our customers and strive to provide the best temperature sensor buying experience possible. To this end, we have developed this policy to provide transparency to our return and warranty practices.
Items Not Eligible for Returns:
Many of our products are fabricated to customer specifications and are therefore not eligible to returns unless found to have a manufactures defect. Items that are not eligible to returns include, but are not limited to Thermowells, fabricated thermocouples, and other custom products.
Non-Defect Related Returns:
Returns are permitted for commonly used items that have not been put into service. Items that are eligible to return are subject to a restocking charge based on the item being returned and must be returned within 90 days of receiving the merchandise. Common items and the associated restocking charge are as follows:
Thermometers – 50%
Accessories such as Blocks; Fittings; Heads – 25%
Spools of Wire – 25%
We take great pride in our products and stand by the quality of the work we perform. For over 30 years we have helped our customers find the right solutions and respond quickly when there is a suspected issue.
Unless otherwise stated, all of our products are covered by a 3 Year Manufacturer Defect-Free Protection Plan. Thermo/Probes, Inc. will test any product under warranty that is suspected of having a manufacturer defect. If a defect is discovered, a replacement or an alternative that mitigates the problem will be offered at no charge.
To return any product that meets the criteria above, submit the following information to your Thermo/Probes, Inc. representative: name and company name; purchase order or sales order number; reason for return. Once a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is provided, return the product to the following address with a reference to the RMA number on the exterior of the package:

After we receive and inspect the product, a response will be provided within 10 business days. Corrective actions will be made within 20 business days of receipt of a return unless otherwise instructed of time sensitivity. If the defected product cannot be returned us before a new product is required by the customer, then a new product will need to be purchased and a credit will be issued after we receive and inspect the product.
